IV Therapy

IV therapy can be beneficial for many different people for different reasons. Two of the main benefits for anyone who wants to try IV therapy include:

  • Easy and convenient: If you are feeling unwell, you probably don’t want to head to the hospital or your doctor’s office unless necessary. For many common symptoms, IV therapy is an easy and convenient option. IV therapy is not a complicated procedure. You don’t even have to leave the venue to undergo IV therapy. Pick a comfortable spot, and we will do the rest. The insertion of the IV is relatively painless, just a small pinch. After it is inserted, you should feel very little discomfort. The IV drip will do its job while you relax.
  • Health and wellness: For the most part, IV therapy is used to promote health and wellness. The infusion of fluids, vitamins and minerals can help support a healthy immune system, promote healthy skin and keep you hydrated. The right balance of vitamins and minerals in the body can also help improve your energy levels.

Charity

‘Made for More’ was founded and built on relationships. Everything we do is created in and flows through relationships.

While working at a school in Durban, South Africa for children with physical disabilities, I started to discover and see the need to invest in so much more than just education and sport and that there was a deep longing to know and be known more holistically.

As my relationships grew with the children, a deep yearning for them to know that they were created for more began to stir in my heart. While journeying with a boy, Ranetsi Manyoni and seeing the effect that sport had in transforming his life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, I began to wonder why it should stop there.

‘Made for More’ uses sport as a vehicle to bring hope, build relationships, and instil morals and values, while equipping and giving athletes the opportunity to pursue their sporting careers provincially and on a national level. When coaching, we don’t just focus on a physical, one-dimensional level, but we seek to go deeper and to invest in the heart and mind of the athlete.

We desire our brothers and sisters to break free from societies conformities and stigmas about who they are and what they can do, and discover that that is ‘Made for More. We desire to see hearts and minds renewed as well as filled with a unique passion and purpose for their lives.

We desire to see this people group restored and filled with love, acceptance and hope for a better future.

Golf

Umdoni Park Golf Club was established on the 1st of May 1920.

Umdoni Park Golf Club, one of the hidden treasures of the South Coast, boasts breath-taking sea views from 70% of the golf course and is situated in 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest. The par 5 eighteenth and par 3 sixteenth holes are both elevated tees, which makes the length judgment critical.

The clubhouse has been recently renovated and offers spectacular views.

Umdoni Golf Course has a considerable reputation in Kwa-Zulu Natal, being regarded as breathtakingly beautiful and hugely pleasurable to play.

Measuring only 5 560 meters from the tips, it has certainly been adjudged a sufficiently stern test to merit hosting several top KZN amateur events.

It is 18 holes over truly striking terrain, with the front 9 running alongside the sea and the back nine stretching inland through dense indigenous forest vegetation. Umdoni Park is anything but flat and its elevation changes not only translate into an adventure of judgment and shot-making but provides any number of “view-site moments”.

On a fine day, lush fairways underfoot and with the ocean swells just breaking into whitecaps, around at Umdoni is food for the soul – this is how golf is meant to be.
